1. A year ago, we pledged to serve the college as one 29th student council. That day, Lester made a speech to apologise to the friends whom we spent lesser time with and to the tutors whom we owed homework to ever since we got into council.
From then on, i just know there's much more to go.

2. We struggled through teachers' day, receiving comment from ms chiew that it was only a 60% effort she got from us, though we all thought that it was already at least our 80%. We were disappointed, upset, but ready to improve.

3. Open house 2006, we never would have know that that was the very day we grew to become a full-size butterfly. Ms chiew surprised us with lavished praises, acknowledging our efforts. It motivated us further, to become a stronger and better council.

4. The success of Orientation One made us realised what we're capable of, and that we shouldn't remain in the shadow of the 28th. Nothing much was said on the night of debrief, we just sat there quietly, and on every faces, a beaming smile. Cause it reminded us that the people around us are those whom we can entrust our burdens to and share our fear with.

5. Second day of Orientation Two, as one, we sat down on the stage of the hall, curtains drawn and lights out. Behind the scene, Lester spoke, and we begin to feel. Someone broke down, and so did the rest. We cried not only the tears of disappointment, guilt and anger but also that of love, trust and concern.
And we realised perhaps, that wasn't our best yet.
Following day, we excelled with the new strength found.

6. As the days towards stepping down neared, we were able to put aside all mixed emotions and focused on grooming the 30th. Tributes paid, thank-yous made, it was a mess of words emotions.
And as we reflected upon all that we have been through, a sense of comfort was felt, that the very person sitting right next to us went through the very same thing.
We told each other, that we will not shed the tears of unwillingness, because even when the lights are out, curtains are drawn, the council pin is down, 29th will live forever.

Embedded into us, is none other than you and me, our 29th.
